Contributions

Pieces by operators other than the editor. A contribution carries a byline and answers to the same evidence standard as a canon entry, and it is not a canon entry: it is not numbered, and it enters the canon only if somebody rewrites it as one.

Not publishing yet

Nothing is published here yet. The section exists because the machinery does: invited contributors write in a studio that will not accept a piece without an executive summary and at least one exhibit, and the editor publishes it under their name. What is missing is the first invitation, not the plumbing.

Before it ships
  • You must currently operate. The same rule as the room, for the same reason.
  • No vendor material and no pieces about your own product. This is the most common reason a pitch does not go anywhere.
  • Every factual claim needs a primary source or a stated basis in observation, and a data exhibit will not save without one.
  • Nothing is paid yet, and that is stated plainly rather than left vague.
